My favourite… Landscapes

The beach at Croyde in Devon

After recently sharing some of my favourite cityscape photographs, this time I’m redressing the balance by leaving the man-made world behind and heading back to nature. A natural landscape covers so many different places – it could be anything from a tropical beach to a snow-capped mountain, from a lush green valley to a dry sandy desert. My favourite landscape shots take us from just outside my front door all the way to distant places like New Zealand, the USA and Vietnam. Which is your favourite?

Each picture creates such different feelings! I like looking at the red Monument Valley picture but if I had to choose in which landscape I would want to be in it would be Halong Bay, Vietnam, drinking a cold coconut. Awesome pictures!

Halong Bay is spectacular. That photo was taken with a film camera almost 10 years ago and I would love to go back and do it justice with a better camera!

Do you know what? My favourite photo here is the Costwolds – absolutely goregous. After that I think I’d have to say the bay of Kotor, because I’m so keen to go to Montenegro next year (fingers crossed).

Not a bad part of the world is it! (though it’s looking a lot greyer and wetter today) Kotor was just lovely, I could’ve looked out at those fjord views for days.
